Our first Athletics Carnival as Our Lady of Mercy College was held at Bunbury Athletics Track on Monday 29 March. It was fantastic to see so many students participating in all track, field and novelty events, especially given the warm weather we had on the day!

Congratulations to every student that challenged themselves to compete. The sense of pride and House spirit present at the Carnival was brilliant.

McAuley is to be commended for winning the overall carnival. Congratulations also to our Age Champions, many of whom are new record holders. An impressive thirty-three records were broken at this carnival.

Many people contributed to making the Athletics Carnival a successful event. Thank you to the Phys Ed staff for their help in preparing and running the Carnival. Additionally, thank you to the staff who worked as officials and supervisors, the student helpers, the House Coordinators, and the Year 12 Student Leaders. A special thank you to Paul and Nicole from Bunbury Little Athletics, who volunteered their own time to help on the day.
