A Message from Principal, Mr Rob Crothers

Dear Parents and Guardians,

I am writing to thank you for your assistance and support in ensuring that Students in Years 8 to 12 are wearing the formal uniform to the College.

I am pleased to advise that there has been a high level of compliance with this direction and to let you know that the change in student demeanour has been noted and appreciated by the teaching staff.

Thank you for your support in making this happen.

The initial key focus has been to move the students from arriving in their PE uniform to arriving in their formal uniform.

Whilst there are some minor discrepancies in relation to shoes and the wearing of a jumper under the tracksuit, it is evident that the College will need to address the length of the skirts and the use of the correct OLMC backpack. Parents may wish to anticipate these matters by having discussions with their child(ren) as we continue to encourage the students to present themselves in the best possible way.

Please see the data below which reflects a high level of compliance by the students. I am appreciative and very proud of the student response.

Students have been regularly reminded that mobile phones and laptops are not permitted to be taken into the changerooms.

The College always endeavours to Work in Partnership, with students and families. I thank you for your support in ensuring that your child meets the required expectation and positively contributes to the productive learning environment at the College.

Regards,

Rob Crothers, Principal
