On Friday, 17 March, the College celebrated the acknowledgement of Bullying, No Way! Day. This acknowledgment reflects our College focus value of 2023 – Respect, particularly Respect to Others.
This day was all about raising awareness about the harmful impacts of bullying. Sadly, as a community, we manage issues associated with bullying daily. The day was aimed at reminding students that they are not alone, giving them direction on how best to manage if they feel they are a victim of bullying and giving them advice on how to access support.
Students enjoyed music and activities such as games, meditation and art therapy.
It was great to see staff and students wearing orange accessories in honour of the event.
Thank you to our College Counsellors, Miss Youngs and Miss Denholm, and student helpers for organising these great activities.
