On Friday, 27 October, our Year 9 students invited their grandparents to join them for a charming Year 9 Grandparents Afternoon Tea.
The afternoon featured a special reading that warmed hearts, a touching photo slideshow, and a musical performance by the talented John Standley, whose melodies resonated with the spirit of togetherness.
The guests were served cups of tea and coffee, alongside a spread of sandwiches, sweet treats, and fresh, seasonal fruits.
This afternoon wasn't just about refreshments and entertainment; it was about creating lasting memories. It was a heartwarming reminder of the special bond that transcends generations.
We are grateful to all the grandparents who joined us and to the Year 9 students, Head of Year 9 Ms Teagan Doyle and the Ministry team for their thoughtfulness in organising this event.
