On Thursday, 24 August, the Year 10 Child Development elective students visited a nearby playground. During this outing, the students had to draw upon their inner 3–5-year-old to evaluate the playground space.
In their assessment, the students had to consider elements of sun safety, sustainability, aesthetics, and child development skills.
With their newfound insights, the students will proceed to participate in a classroom assignment focused on crafting a natural playground tailored specifically for the developmental needs of 3–5-year-olds.
