Our Lady of Mercy College would like to acknowledge the outstanding work ethic, dedication and enthusiasm of Jye Smith, who has recently secured an Apprenticeship with PJD Engineering in the Metal Fabrication trade.
Jye has been attending work placement one day a week at PJD Engineering under Workshop Manager, Mr John de Bont, since March 2022. Jye’s level of commitment and dedication to his trade was clearly evident and resulted in John offering Jye a full time Apprenticeship at PJD Engineering after just a few weeks of attending his placement.
We are grateful to have been part of Jye’s journey and sincerely grateful to John de Bont and the team at PJD Engineering for providing Jye with this opportunity.
