Notice: College Uniform and Cold Weather Attire

The College uniform is the outward sign of membership of the family of Our Lady of Mercy College. Wearing the uniform appropriately demonstrates respect for oneself and the College community.

Over the last few weeks, wearing the correct uniform has been a focus for the College. It is very pleasing to note that our students have embraced this focus and are wearing the formal uniform each day.

With the colder weather now setting in, students may choose to wear a plain dark navy or black scarf or beanie. The College is currently sourcing affordable options that can be incorporated into the Our Lady of Mercy College uniform range.

For those who wish to wear a warm undergarment, please ensure that it remains concealed and ideally features a V-neck. The College jumper is available for purchase and can be comfortably worn underneath the College soft shell jacket. The sports jacket should only be worn with the sports uniform.

To add extra warmth to the College formal skirt, navy tights or skin-coloured stockings are permitted. However, it is important to wear the College white socks along with the stockings.

We appreciate your adherence to the uniform policy and your cooperation in maintaining a unified and respectful appearance within the College community. Should you have any questions or concerns regarding the uniform or cold weather attire, please do not hesitate to contact the College office.

Thank you for your continued support.
