Our Lady of Mercy College recently welcomed representatives from WA universities for a ‘Combined University Visit’, giving our Year 10 and Year 12 students valuable insights into their future study options.
Before the presentations, students explored a University Pathways Expo, where they engaged in one-on-one conversations with the representatives about courses, entry pathways, scholarships and campus life.
Over 100 students attended the informative sessions and learnt about the many different pathways that will enable them to apply for university in the future. The reps also discussed new and exciting courses, accommodation, overseas study opportunities and sports and social events.
The students had the chance to ask questions and gather resources to support their decision-making. It was wonderful to see them actively engaging with the presenters, and the feedback from the university representatives was very positive.
The College is very grateful to the following universities and staff for their time and expertise:
Curtin University
Edith Cowan University (ECU)
Murdoch University
The University of Notre Dame Australia
The University of Western Australia
