'Women in Trades' Event Inspires Year 9 Students to Explore Trade Career Pathways

MEGT, the Master Builders Association, and Bunnings recently collaborated to bring the inaugural 'Women in Trades' event to our region.

A select group of Year 9 students, already keen on exploring trades through our Career Taster Program, accompanied the College’s Career Services team to the event.

The event featured a panel of accomplished women in the automotive, boilermaking, and fabrication industries, sharing their insights and experiences. They spoke about the support services and opportunities available to young women who are thinking of starting a trade.

If you're curious about exploring trades as a potential career pathway, please contact the Career Services team at the College.
