Congratulations to Tasha Gunson (Year 12), as she has been offered a job by the wonderful people of Goodstart Early Learning Eaton.

Tasha has completed her Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care whilst training at Goodstart Eaton. She completed the training package in 18 months, including 160 workplace hours. She has also gained qualifications in First Aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma training.

Throughout the course, Tasha has demonstrated enthusiasm and an eagerness to complete the certificate and admirably balanced her school responsibilities with her work commitments.

Assistant Director of Goodstart, Jess, commented: "Tasha is always well-mannered and friendly. She has a passion and spark for this industry. And the kids? They absolutely adore her!"

Tasha is now industry-ready, having a working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Regulations, and Quality Standards. Plus, she's got that perfect mix of respect, fun, and engagement when looking after the little ones.

We wish her the best as she embarks on this exciting career path.

Tasha commented:

"The Certificate III course in Early Childhood Education and Care has been a very enjoyable course. We have done a wide range of different activities and tasks. My favourite part has been attending a childcare centre and working with the children. By participating in this course and attending a centre, you gain a better understanding of the routines, policies, procedures, and the variety of the children's different personalities.

In the last three years, I've participated in the College's Workplace Learning program, which has also given me insights into the centre's safety protocols, policies, and the valuable skills I can bring to the industry.

I recommend anyone interested in working with children to consider enrolling in this course."
